visual artist illustrator
Louise Duneton works with ink colour, playing a central role in her practice. Her inspirations stem from encyclopaedic and scientific documentation, through which she explores the relationship between body and nature. Through visual analogies, her dreamlike representations reveal the poetry of organic forms.
Louise Duneton explores questions of scale in drawing, transforming her works on paper into immersive installations. In doing so, she gives material form to the fantasy of being able to enter into a drawing. Her approach to staging can be found both in the composition of her illustrations and in the artistic direction of her exhibitions.
Graduated from HEAR Strasbourg, Louise Duneton lives and works in Paris and the Landes (France).
